Home Field Advantage

By:
For a pitcher getting familiar with the mound your pitcher from take practice, patients and time. But Hounds Pitcher Patrick Cashman may have a leg up on not only his teammates but his opponents as well. As you may have read in the Know Your Hounds article, Cashman is currently a freshman at Benedictine University and will be playing out his season on the same field where he will be this summer for the Hounds. "(The Sports Complex) Is one of the best fields I've been able to play on and I am glad I can call it my home field for both spring and summer. It is always nice to pitch off a mound you are familiar with and that you are comfortable on." As the Eagles season gets underway and the Hounds season fast approaches Cashman may be looking to looking to take notice of things he can use to his advantage in the coming months in order to make an impact for the Hounds this summer. "I am looking forward to getting at it with the Hounds. I am also excited to work with some new coaches to try to help me get better. However, the best part about playing for a new team is meeting new people and just having a good time." Remember you can check out the Hounds, starting June 1st, this summer by purchasing tickets Here and can keep up with all the Hounds news by signing up for our Newsletter Here.
