Hounds Sign Two Local PlayersBy: The DuPage County Hounds are pleased to announce the signing of two new players; Conor Philbin of University of Illinois-Chicago and Anthony Cunniff of College of DuPage. With the signing of Philbin and Cunniff, the Hounds have now signed a total of 11 players for the 2013 season, just 17 shy of the 28-man roster limit. Philbin, who played for the Hounds towards the end of the 2012 season, is a Naperville resident who currently is an outfielder for University of Illinois-Chicago. While playing in high school for Naperville Central, he was named to the All-Conference, All-Area, and All-County teams.
Cunniff, who is from Joliet, currently attends College of DuPage where he is a pitcher. The 6’2 210lb freshman played high school baseball for Plainfield Central High School. |
