Two of the DuPage County Hounds players are off to good starts in their college seasons at Eastern Illinois University.  Pitcher Jake Johnsmeier (#6) and infielder Mitch Gasbarro (#23) are doing well in the start of their college season playing for EIU.  

Johnsmeier is off with a 4.50 ERA, a 0-1 record, 8 innings pitched, and has recorded one pickoff.  Gasbarro is hitting .333 with 3 at bats with 2 runs and 1 hit.

Over the course of the entire Spring season we will be highlighting what some of our players are doing in their college seasons.
